Maybe I'm slow on the uptake.... but this last week I've only just caught up to the season. After a quiet start to the year, plans made in winter are coming to fruition and I finally feel the spring within myself. We are solar-powered beings and it can sometimes take a while to get up to speed, there's no shame in that. If you're still stuck in the dark, embrace the change, let life blossom around you and trust that opportunities await us all. Spring reminds us that brightness follows the darkest days.
I find myself immersed in sunshine, birdsong and much optimism for the year ahead: new work, exhibitions, events, collaborations and challenges. I have so much to share with you over the coming months. I'll pace myself and we'll see how we go, the uncertainty can sometimes be overwhelming but one thing is beyond doubt: spring has sprung!
